Greetings Everyone.  I hope you all were able to with the family and enrich what’s important, our family bonds.  I will be focusing on a new charity that I am trying to put together to help local families get information and assistance with mental health issues and social services.  The charity will be known as MUMS which stands for Moms United for Mental Stability of West Volusia County.  You can read more about it at www.mumswv.com.

New Woman’s Charity called M.U.M.S. of West Volusia (Moms United for Mental Stability)

October 9th, 2012 Posted in Business, Girl Stuff, WholeSum Thoughts

I am putting together a new  charity with the focus on helping women to find local information, groups services and resources about mental health in the West Volusia area.  The unity of the group will work as a support system for those in need of services offered. Ms. Sasha Limpar will be helping me form this group and will act as a co-founder. I am very grateful for her contributions and support getting this group/charity up and running. We will be working with community leaders and individuals to let us know what type of support services are needed most.  We will be creating a website soon.  Please let us know if you need help in the West Volusia area of Central Florida.  Our goal is to eventually offer a safe place where women can utilize all that we offer or stay if needed.

There are lots of great events going on today but not that many are free and benefit the local arts and historical societies but this one hits the mark.  Stop by this afternoon or early evening to see the wonderful exhibit and check out the local exhibits as well.  The Orange City Woman’s Club VIA will be selling their book on the history of Orange City for just $15.  This is a large, well illustrated book packed full of local history.  Here’s a link for more information about the event:http://www.gatewaycenterforthearts.org/Upcoming-Events.html
